Black Sabbath
The very first album that I bought was Black Sabbath - Master of Reality. I think that was one of the best the band did. We played some Sabbath songs in my band back int he day.

Ozzie was good, but I think that Dio was a better singer.

That said, I just read about this, even though it happened many years ago.

One drunken night altered Ozzy Osbourne's tour plans for the rest of his career. While in San Antonio on Feb. 19, 1982, the mumbling rocker decided to go animal-style and urinated on a memorial erected for those who died at the Alamo, located across from the actual building. He was subsequently arrested and banned. Ten years later, he was permitted to return -- after making a donation to the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.

Folks, I was always an Ozzie fan, but if I had been there and saw him do that, I would have shot the son of a bitch dead right there.  battle

My daughter came down for a visit and took me to Longhorn for my birthday.

I got the rib-eye steak again. It was as good as I remembered.

The only grip that I have with places like this is they all seem to have ONLY a 12 once rib-eye. Folks, that's just too big.

I ordered my steak well done, and then charred. It was cooked to perfection.

My grand daughters were thrilled with their grilled cheese sandwiches too. Their little combos came with fries and a slice of watermelon. They loved it. It looked so good, I might try that someday myself.

My daughter got a small sirloin that was definably not done enough for my tastes. It was cooked as she ordered it though and she was pleased. Tongue

My sister, Jo, and I went to Captain D's and had lunch a few days ago. Once again, my eyes were bigger than my stomach.

It's hard to figure out what to get there though. Sometimes the fish pieces are pretty big. Other times they seem like they are only half as big. I think that in the future, I will be getting a doggy bag.

It's nice to be able to bitch about getting too much to eat. Cheesy

Captain D's is on my favorites list, and has been for a great many years.

I need to keep track of my visits to this place. I have been back to Ruby Tuesday on a few occasions since my last birthday, but have failed to write about those visits. But I went for my annual birthday burger this year and remembered to do this review.

OK. I got the prime burger this year. In my opinion, it is not as good as the classic burger, but costs more. I ordered my burger as I always do - lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, and extra onions. Once again, the mayonnaise was almost non-existent. The onions were totally non-existent. I asked my waitress for some more mayonnaise, and then had to send her back for the onion.

The burger itself was a little on the dry side. The classic burger that I got last year was much better. The bun that came with the triple prime burger was a bit on the dry side too. I am sure that this burger has many people who love it. I am not one of those people. Don't get me wrong, it was really pretty good, just not what I expected.

My waitress was Jamala. She was pleasant and didn't hesitate when I asked her for the things that were left off of the burger. I am beginning to wonder though if missing ingredients would stop if the waiters would just write down what you ask for instead of trying to remember it.

Ken Decker, the district manager, came by my table and sat with me for around ten minutes. I had asked about him and the waitress had told me that he was in the restaurant that day. I met Ken a few years ago when my son was working for him in Boone. He said that he recognized my face when I came in, but couldn't remember who I was. We had a nice conversation and I finished up my burger and left.

Even with the forgotten items, this was a good visit to this eatery. Ruby Tuesday would have to do something really bad for me to take them off of my favorite list. I don't see that happening.

I have been back to Hannah's on a few occasions since the ribs fiasco. I now just get chopped barbecue, fries, and coleslaw. The vinegar based sauce is excellent.

I rode my bike to Hannah's a week or so ago and had a sit down meal. That was a first. I am pleased to say that the employees are very friendly. I finished off probably a half bottle of the vinegar sauce. Cheesy

Several months ago, I started going back to Burger King. As with most other places, I now eat mostly off of the dollar menu. Once you get used to the smaller burgers and other smaller portions, what you get for three dollars will fill you up.

Every once in a while I will go in a bit too hungry and have a Whopper. I try to make sure and tell them extra onions and extra tomatoes. If you don't tell them that, you will hardly get much of either.

I also like their double burger (they lowered the price a lot). You will get more burger for your buck than at Wendy's, but that's all you will get. They won't put anything on it except for pickles.

Bianca Ryan

This is why I watch America's Got Talent.

Every season, there is some kid on there who was born to sing.

Bianca Ryan was 11 years old when she won America's Got Talent - 2006.

If she doesn't become a star, there is no justice in the world of music.
