1 - PLEASE do not ever utter the phrase "I am offended" or "I find that offensive" on this message board.

2 - If you do not like something that is said, dispute it, argue about it, raise hell about it, but don't pussy out and start with the "offended" shit. nono

3 - If I see something that even I think goes too far, I will edit it or delete it. I hope I don't have to do that very often as I think people need a place to blow off steam once in a while. Friends can come on here and disagree at night and hang out together the next day. It's only a message board people. Deal with it.

4 - If you can't deal with what is being said, leave already. It would be nice to have you around, but nobody is making you stay.

5 - Sometimes you may find a word that pops up in place of one that you typed in. Do not try to override this. I just do not like the sound of some words. Since this is my board, I can change them.

6 - Flagrant racist or other such comments will not be allowed by anyone. You can bitch about countries, or people in general, but do not try to use any of my boards as a hate forum for any particular color, creed, sexual preference, or religion.

7 - Cursing and other bad language will be allowed to a certain extent. Even I get carried away sometimes. Just don't get filthy with your comments.

8 - Just because you might think strongly about politics, religion, sexual preference, a certain TV show, or whatever, does not make your opinion right. Make your opinion known, but respect the rights of others to disagree.

9 - There will be some subjects that I will not allow on these boards. When one of them pops up, I will let you know and it will be removed.

This all sounds pretty harsh for a board where people are supposed to be able to Ramble, but I have learned that there has to be rules and guidelines.

If you do not think you can abide by the Rules of The Board, and these general guidelines, go away. I don't need the headache of messing with you.

Addendum
Nothing offends me. Call me names. Call my mother names. Refer to my family. It is just words and your opinion. Your opinion is yours alone. It may piss me off sometimes to no end, but I respect it. I do not have to agree with it.

Getting mad about something and being offended are two entirely different things.

If people can't get mad about something and bitch at each other without becoming offended, they need to stay off of message boards.

If people are so thin skinned that they become offended over something posted on a message board, they need to stay off of message boards.

But most important: If people can't respect others opinions, whether they make them mad or not, they need to stay off of message boards.

Frankly, I like a good spirited conversation. And conversations about religion, sports, and politics usually get pretty spirited.

I invite you to converse, argue, state, or defend what you have to say. Your posted opinions will be noted. I respect your right to express them. But like I said: I do not have to agree with them, and I WILL delete them if they get out of hand.
