I stopped in the local Red Lobster for lunch today. I was pleasantly surprised.

The only other time I was ever in a Red Lobster was a couple years ago in Winston-Salem. I wasn't impressed. The crab legs were soft and the lobster tasted rubbery. Somebody up there doesn't know how to cook.

Today was better though. I was waited on by a young lady by the name of Chelsea. She was very professional and did her job very well.

I was also surprised a the prices on their lunch menu. This place is pretty reasonable at lunchtime!

I got the Sailor's Platter. It came with baked fish, fried shrimp, and shrimp scampi. I also got a baked potato and a salad. I was NOT impressed with the salad. It had the same smell that the cheap stuff in plastic bags at the grocery store has. The ranch dressing also sucked. It didn't taste like ranch at all. They need to spice their dressing up and get some fresher greens. Come to think of it, the water wasn't too good either.

But the fish and shrimp were excellent.

I will definitely try this place again. But, next time I will stick to a Coke and maybe slaw.
